Volunteer Opportunities

Families In Schools is looking for volunteers that can help us with our Passport to Success campaign. Passport to Success is a summer program that promotes summer learning for students and family engagement. It provides families FREE and low-cost learning activities to explore throughout the summer.

Here are some upcoming opportunities ߘʼ/span>

Packaging & Assembling, Saturday, May 12, 2018 8:30am-12:30pm  Thursday, May 17, 2018 3pm-7pm , and/ or Saturday, May 19, 2018 8:30am-12:30pm  -  Join us to sort and assemble packages for our annual Passport to Success campaign. Every year we distribute over 10,000 Passport to Success packets so that families know of about free and low-cost museums, and sites that they can visit to keep learning during the summer. Volunteers will help putting packages together so that we can start sending materials out. Friends are welcome, too!

Data Entry, Thursday May 17, 2018 3pm-7pm and/or Saturday, May 19, 2018 8:30-12:30pm - Every year we register and survey anywhere between 1,000-5,000 families for different programs and many are done on paper. We need your help entering data into our system. In supporting our data entry efforts volunteers ensure that families receive updated materials and information in a timely manner and ensure that our programs are improved in the future.

I encourage you to refer your students, family members, colleagues, etc. It really is a program that impacts the entire community.
